Our subsidiary, UPCYCLE Technologies Co., Ltd., was selected as one of 40 presenting startups at “ROCET PITCH NIGHT TOKYO: BLOOM 2026,” a pitch event hosted by Venture Café Tokyo, part of a global innovation community spanning 16 cities, and delivered a presentation on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
This event is one of the largest pitch events in Japan, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, corporations, and support organizations, and is held with the aim of fostering and advancing entrepreneurship in Japan.
On the day of the event, Takami, Project Manager of UPCYCLE Technologies Co., Ltd., took the stage to present on the theme of “Upcycling Organic Waste Using a Catalytic Low-Temperature Carbonization System,” introducing the company’s resource recovery technology for organic waste and its vision for social implementation.
As a result, we received two awards: the “People’s Choice Award,” selected by audience vote, and the “KPMG Award,” presented by the event organizer, KPMG AZSA LLC.
We believe this recognition reflects the high evaluation of UPCYCLE Technologies Co., Ltd.’s technology and business model as an effective solution toward realizing a sustainable society.
UPCYCLE Technologies Co., Ltd. will continue to advance the demonstration and social implementation of its catalytic low-temperature carbonization technology, while promoting the development of a circular model that transforms food waste into valuable resources. At the same time, the company will further strengthen collaboration with partner companies and research institutions to drive continued business growth.
