Our subsidiary, UPCYCLE Technologies Inc., is pleased to announce that it has successfully passed the document screening process and has been selected as an adopted company in the business co-creation program “Belnal,” hosted by West Japan Railway Company (JR West) and the JR West Group.
“Belnal” is a co-creation program that aims to realize a decarbonized society, address regional challenges, and create new businesses by combining the diverse assets and networks of the JR West Group with the advanced technologies and ideas of startups and other innovators.
Our subsidiary, UPCYCLE Technologies Inc., leverages its proprietary catalytic low-temperature carbonization technology to recycle and upcycle organic waste, contributing to CO₂ emission reduction from waste treatment, the establishment of local resource circulation, and applications in energy and fertilizer, thereby promoting the realization of a sustainable society.
In the recent document screening, our proposal was selected for its strong alignment with the environmental and decarbonization initiatives promoted by the JR West Group, as well as its potential for co-creation across business fields including railways, stations, and related facilities.
