The upcycled product “Kaffy Pita Cup,” developed and provided by our subsidiary, UPCYCLE Technologies Co., Ltd., has been adopted in large quantities by Resorts World Genting—one of Malaysia’s largest integrated resort destinations—through our group company, PNH Malaysia (officially PNH Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.).
In this implementation, “Kaffy Pita Cup” has been adopted primarily for use in dining areas and events within the facility, and has received high praise as an environmentally conscious product. At this destination, which welcomes visitors daily, the initiative is attracting significant attention as it simultaneously reduces single-use materials and delivers a more sustainable guest experience.
“Kaffy Pita Cup” is an environmentally friendly cup made by upcycling organic waste (spent coffee grounds), and is gaining strong interest from companies and facilities both in Japan and overseas as a new alternative to conventional plastic products.
