Our subsidiary, UPCYCLE Technologies Inc., was selected as a finalist from among numerous applicants in the “MITANI Business Contest 2025” hosted by Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd., and presented at the Final Pitch Session held on Friday, December 12.
At the final pitch, Masatsuna Ogi, President and CEO of UPCYCLE Technologies Inc., delivered a presentation titled “Upcycling Organic Waste through Catalytic Low-Temperature Carbonization Technology.” As a result of the presentation, the company received three sponsor awards: the Fukui Bank Award, the Zettai Sōshiyo Award, and the Defta Partners Award.
Going forward, through continued demonstration and implementation of the catalytic low-temperature carbonization technology developed and promoted by our subsidiary, UPCYCLE Technologies Inc., we will further strengthen partnerships and accelerate business development toward realizing a circular economy model that transforms food waste into valuable resources.
